The MINERVA platform provides users the functionalities to upload their own data files and visualizes them as overlays on elements in the maps.

Our Overlays plugin enhances the usability of Minerva by allowing the user to upload a file containing multiple samples at once. Furthermore, the user can select whether or in which way the values should be normalized to be displayed as color gradients.
The file, a tab-separated .txt file, should contain the sample names in the first row and element names in the first columns. The values should not include any thousand separators - decimal separators can be as a comma or point.
